Mike Tyson, sports world mourns George Foreman: ‘His contribution to boxing and beyond will never be forgotten’

Legendary former heavyweight champion George Foreman died at the age of 76, his family announced Friday, as athletes and celebrities far beyond boxing reflected on the life of one of sports’ biggest personalities.

Charles Barkley discussed his relationship with Foreman during halftime of the late NCAA tournament games.

Fellow basketball Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen also expressed condolences.

The boxing community mourned Foreman’s passing.
